At the Beginning of the year David August released his magnificent second EP on his Diynamic home-base. After a summer jam-packed with gigs all over the world and exciting outcomes on different labels such as Cocoon, he is finally back with his third EP bearing the name: “You Got To Love Me”.

Young David August, as usual spoils us with three gorgeous tracks of which it is quit hard to pick a favorite.

The eponym comes a long with a repetitive vocal line which will stay on your mind for a long time. With its pumping baseline and one stretching acapella breakdown, “You Got To Love Me” is a guaranteed dancefloor-bomb.

“On My Mind” definitely captivates by his funky synthie pop baseline. Building up tension an opening up harmonically it drops back to where it came from, punching drums and its massive bass

The great final is a further demonstration of what David August is capable. A haunting vocal-hook accompanied by low atmospheric piano notes and a deep bass hits support the pleasurable slowness of “Stepping Trough My Self”.
